After the heavy rain last night, our basement in St. Louis flooded again, and we had to pull out the shop vac to suck up an inch of water. The sump pump couldn't keep up with the clay soil backing up around the foundation. Now we're pulling soggy boxes away from the walls and trying to dry out the carpet before mold sets in.
