신용카드로 머지포인트를 구매한 일부 구매자들은 사용처에서 사용이 중단됐는데도 할부자본이 지속적으로 빠져나가고 있다고 토로했었다. 더욱이 결제 돈이 80만 원을 넘지 않는 소액이거나 일시불로 결제해 항변권을 행사하지 못해 고통받고 있는 상태이다.
