무역협회는 현재 중국에서 보건식품과 미용식품의 개념이 명확히 구분되지 않아 중국으로 미용식품 수출 시 보건식품으로 분류되며, 수출을 위해선 중국 국가위생부의 심사를 받아 국가식약품관리감독에서 발급한 ‘보건식품판매허가증서를 보유한 경우에만 가능하다고 조언했다.
